• Security refers to the technical safeguards used to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

The Information Security unit of Information and Educational Technology provides support to campus departments to ensure appropriate information security.

In the event of a security breach, you should immediately report the incident as described in your department's Incident Response Plan. If you suspect that sensitive data may have been compromised, consult with the Privacy Officer regarding requirements for notification.
